My dear friend Caresa had a genius  idea for her fabulous 40th year of life: give friends and family each a square of canvas and have them paint, draw, bedazzle or otherwise create something in her honor. She hung them in her apartment, gallery-style, in a giant grid. It’s an explosion of happiness and awesome.

As part of Crafternoon 2011, I put the finishing touches on my gradient sunrise. And yes, that is a line of golden glitter right through the middle.
